The Upside Down Floor

Sometimes we just need to do things a little differently and mess with gravity! So why not flooring on the ceiling and walls, but not the floor…

This property is an older Victorian style home located in Brunswick, Victoria.

Nadia’s client is an environmentally conscious person who wanted the natural look of timber. The timber was hand selected and imported from Italy. While Nadia was all for
the natural ‘naked’ look, she understood the importance of protecting the timber from external factors – dirty fingerprints, grease and other elements that an open living area attached to the kitchen would be exposed to. Intergrain Enviropro Invisible was the perfect product that met all criteria – invisible look, with ultimate protection and meeting sustainable coating application measures. And it provides high durability as a one-pack system.

Nadia commented that the coating was applied to vertical and horizontal surfaces without dripping. Being low odor helped when working in an enclosed area. The product was also fast drying, and easy to apply and sand. Overall, it was safe and easy to handle while delivering high performance and the aesthetic elements desired.

Now, how are we getting the sanding machine up there???
